How it all started …

Tracy’s Home-Sewn Creations all started with a passion for sewing, and for bringing joy to others with my creations. I started in 2015 when I made my daughter a personalized blanket for her sorority, and I never would have imagined that little project would be the start of making this dream of mine come true!

As more and more people approached me to make personal gifts for loved ones, I realized this passion and dream of mine could be something more. So, I started Tracy’s Blankets – Traces of Memories, and since 2015 I have made more than 2,500 home-sewn creations. Fast-forward to today … I now make more than just blankets, so I have renamed my business as Tracy’s Home-Sewn Creations.

My passion is providing custom products that are personal to the person receiving them – either you, or someone who is receiving the item as a gift.

I do have some premade items available for those in a time crunch, but I don’t just make a bulk supply of generic products and sell them – I hand-sew your item once it’s ordered to ensure it’s exactly what you envision! I am very particular about the quality and details, and take extra steps to ensure your item is the best it can be. For example, I don’t make a large batch of baby blankets and then just add embroidery because the threading will show on the other side of the blanket. I embroider the fabric before I sew the pieces together to ensure the back of the embroidery is neatly hidden behind the opposite fabric. Seemingly small details like these are what make my handmade items so unique.
